construction consultancy - CDM Co-ordinator
Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 most non-domestic construction projects, other than those which are relatively small, will require the client or employer to appoint a competent CDM Co-ordinator to ensure health and safety matters are properly planned and managed throughout the design and construction process. Our wealth of experience in the construction industry enables us offer this service and provide comprehensive advice to ensure our clients comply with their statutory duties.
In undertaking the role of CDM Co-ordinator we adopt a very practical approach to health and safety and the implementation of the CDM Regulations rather than adopting the ‘cover all bases with mountains of generic paperwork’ approach that is often encountered. This approach helps to ensure health and safety issues are properly considered, without stifling creativity and adding unnecessary cost, and ensures that H&S information provided to contractors is clear and relevant.
